Who we are
One level two hospital for 61 lakh people
Nashik Civil Hospital is the only facility in the district with level two care. It carries 15 talukas on its own, and nearly half the people it serves live in the tribal belt. Private hospitals can treat what it cannot, but their fees put them far out of reach of a tribal family.
We were set up in 2002 to close that gap. We take basic medical care to every household regardless of income, caste or distance, build awareness of health, hygiene and nutrition, and make sure families know the government schemes they already qualify for. Our work with women and children runs in constant coordination with Zilla Parishad Nashik.

Why our work matters
Distance is the illness nobody treats
In the tribal blocks of Nashik district, a fever that costs forty rupees to treat in the city can cost a family a day of wages, a bus fare and a night in the open. Most simply wait it out.

We cannot move the hills. So we move the clinic instead, on a fixed date, every month, whether ten people come or two hundred.
Message from the founder
Being at the forefront of the fight against corona, I saw human suffering like no other. It made me realise how fragile life is and how much is still in our hands to make it easier for the people around us.
When there was no clarity on how to treat the virus, we fell back on experience. When there was not enough protective equipment, we did not step back from duty. Sai Sanjivani distributed masks and sanitisers to police officers on duty, groceries and immunity boosters to poor households across Nashik, and ran free full body and eye checkups in the tribal belt where basic care still does not reach.
I thank our team for standing by the mission of the organisation. It is because of their grit that we could serve society through those years. The fight is not over. I would ask each one of you to come forward and do your bit.
