What we collect

We collect only what you type into a form on this website, or what you tell us on the phone. That means your name, phone number, email address, city, the organisation or college you named if you gave one, and your message.

At a camp we also record patient details in a register, because follow up is the whole point of the work. Those records stay with the sanstha and with the treating doctor.

Why we collect it

• To call you back about a donation, a volunteering offer, an internship, a partnership or a question you have asked
• To place you on the right programme and tell you the camp dates
• To issue a receipt and an 80G certificate for a donation
• To report to a CSR partner on how their contribution was used

What we will not do

We do not sell, rent, trade or share donor and volunteer information with anyone. We do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for. We do not publish a patient name, photograph or medical detail without that person agreeing to it first.

Photographs

Photographs from camps and drives appear on this website and in our published reports. If you appear in one and would like it removed, write to us and we will take it down.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as we are in touch with you about them. Donation records and camp registers are kept as long as the law and our audit requirements need, since they form part of the accounts we publish every year.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. If basic visitor analytics are added later, this page will be updated to say so.

Your choices
